Artist Statement

My biggest inspiration as an artist is my daily life and my surrounding environment. A concept that really intrigues me is the daily interactions we have and how we occupy space– whether it’s by personalizing our environment or expressing our identities. The relationship between what surrounds me and my own existence is dynamic; I shape my environment just as it shapes me. Through my art, I aim to explore these connections by using a variety of classic and unconventional materials to create manipulated compositions. This approach allows me to introspect on myself and the world around me, creating artworks that reflect the nuances of these interactions.
